Though the Dutch cuisine itself might not be world famous, in Amsterdam you can enjoy food from all across the globe – and it’s super tasty too! From hipster breakfast spots, to street food markets and Dutch food as ‘mom’ would cook it – we’ve listed seven of our favourite foodie spots in Amsterdam.

This cozy Kiwi cafe offers a delicious healthy menu, including eggs, avocado toast (of course!), pancakes, and even a full vegetarian breakfast. Craving pizza? We LOVE YamYam in Oud West, especially the pizza topped with truffle oil. Though, Sotto Pizza is THE place in Amsterdam that serves pizza according to authentic Neapolitan recipes. Size and quality are superb here!

Vegabond is both a lunchroom and a mini-market. They serve breakfast, lunch and, for those craving sweets, a wide variety of rolls, cookies, and cakes. We love this place! Moeders is a restaurant with traditional Dutch cuisine. This small restaurant is beautifully decorated with photo frames on their walls – each with pictures of Moms in it. So, if you are looking for a cosy and informal foodie spot, head to Moeders, book a table online and have a Stamppot (mashed potato with sausage, or meatballs – veggie options available!)
