This Curious Photo Quest across Lisbon is a mix between a treasure hunt and photography challenge. You’ll wander from one photogenic location to the next by following mysterious directions and solving location-based questions. In between stops you’ll unlock – and get creative with – a different photo challenge. There are six photo challenges in total. Imagine strolling along the city’s cobbles streets and being challenged to capture azulejos (typical tiles) creatively.. Or, hunting for urban nature to capture it in an image! On top of enjoying your discoveries and your very own creativity, you’ll also learn curious stories about the places you find!

This experience was originally created by Secret City Trails co-founders, Kristina & Wendy but is now maintained by our trail builders in Lisbon, Ines and Chris.

Play 7 days a week, during daylight hours.

Expected/Obtained Objectives, Activities and Results: Secret City Trails is gamifying city experiences through cryptic and playful discovery games. In that context, the main aim of the project is to improve the digital skills and to strength the positioning and design of the brand (Secret City Trails) for the international market.
The planned investments include: 1. the creation of a mobile application; 2. the structuring and implementation of brand positioning and communication strategy for target markets; 3. the trademark registration in Portugal/EU, Singapore and USA; 4. the hiring of highly qualified technical staff.
